SPORTS AREA
Residents of resort 3Molinos can enjoy no end of activities. In more than 45.000m2 destined for sports facilities you will find an athletic stadium, aquatic centre with an olympic sized swimming pool and a smaller one for teaching and other complimentary aquatic therapies. The sports infrastructure is complete with tennis and paddle courts, ball games, basketball, an indoor sports hall, gymnasiums, aerobics and spinning rooms, football and rugby pitches and other free use areas and jogging tracks which connect the different sports areas.
Golfers will find variety on the two 18 hole golf courses designed by Greg Norman. One of them a championship course which will permanently challenge the best golfers, the other one is less challenging and ideal for those looking for an enjoyable game.
OLYMPIC POOL
We all agreed that swimming, whether for recreation or competition, is extremely important for both mental and physical health. We at Resort 3 Molinos recognise this and, as a result, are planning one of the most comprehensive facilities in Spain.
Our Olympic sized swimming pool will be one of the most important constructions within Resort 3 Molinos, and residents will be able to use the 50 metre pool along with a smaller one for: competition training, swimming classes, general swimming for enjoyment and lane swimming for fitness. We will also promote aqua-aerobics and other complementary aquatic therapies.

FOOTBALL PITCHES
Football is the most popular player and spectator sport in the world. Resort 3 Molinos will have a great facility with several pitches where teams can train and competitions of all levels can be held. From inter-club matches to international tounaments, Resort 3 Molinos will host them all.
ATHLETICS STADIUM
One of the many stunning facilities on the 3 Molinos resort will be the purpose built athletic stadium. Designed to host athletic events to the highest level, this facility will be available to professional and amateurs alike.
Managed by Olympic silver medallist decathlete Antonio Peñalver this athletic stadium will be equipped with state of the art facilities that will leave you both enthused and impressed.
The athletics stadium offers all the residents the opportunity to train and compete in all the events and disciplines of modern athletics. Also included is a central multiuse playing field.
CYCLING
Cycling is one of the fastest growing and healthiest sports, which is why Resort 3 Molinos is planning 1st Class cycling facilities to satisfy not only amateur cyclists but professionals too. Alejandro Valverde, silver medallist in the World Championships in 2003 & 2005, and winner of the UCI Protour in 2006 supports this project. We will also have experts available to give advice.
TENNIS
Resort 3 Molinos has fantastic facilities for both professional and amateur tennis players. With a tennis centre and lots more courts within the complex, there will be every opportunity to play and practice this popular sport. The Tennis Club will be managed by a professional team offering coaching and advice on all aspects of the game.
EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
The beauty of these pure bred Spanish horses, the sensation of liberty experienced from seeing them gallop, and the majesty of their movement will all form an essential part of Resort 3 Molinos.
The Equestrian Centre will be highly regarded both nationally and internationally within the equestrian world. Our objective is to make the Resort 3 Molinos Riding Club one of the most modern in Europe. This will attract professional riders from all over Europe, who will find not only good all-year-round weather, but also the perfect place to hold the most prestigious sporting events.
The facilities will accommodate more than 200 stables and be comparable with the outstanding stud farm, Pena de Bejar, which is owned by the developers family. Owners with horses stabled at 3 Molinos will have the option of hiring them to casual riders.
The complex will also harbour a classical ‘break-in’ school for jumping, to enable horse lovers to learn and perfect their style with highly trained professionals, and it is foreseen that residents and visitors will enjoy the facilities on offer, and go to the events that take place there.
There will be a covered exhibition rink with a capacity to hold 1,000 people, as well as an open-air rink measuring 20x69 metres, both of which will hold the most prestigious events.
In this complex nothing has been overlooked, so that not only can equine lovers observe jumping and events, but they can rent trekking horses for walks in the surroundings of the Resort, and enjoy the enormous amount of beauty spots that encircle the complex. |
