1. Find a UK limited company that specialises in selling Spanish Property and is a member of a recognised organisation such as FOPDAC or NAEA (Federation of Overseas Property Developers and Consultants or National Association of Estate Agents) - Direct2Spain Ltd are a member of both organisations.
2. Research the Region of Spain that you feel is right place for you to buy a property. We have fallen in love with The Region of Murcia see ‘why Murcia' for all the reasons why we think this is the best place in the sun
3. Decide on your budget, but be flexible, you are sometimes able to stretch your finances by buying off plan, raising capital on up our UK property on an interest only mortgage or arranging a Spanish mortgage. Our independant mortgage advisor can advise you on the best way your finances are suited to buying a property in Spain
4. Decide whether your property in Spain is for holiday let, an investment property or for permanent / semi permanent relocation
5. The above will point you towards your type of property (apartment, townhouse or detached villa) - but keep an open mind, sometimes other options come along in while in Spain that are of interest.
6. Arrange an inspection trip with an independant company such as Direct2Spain. Not being tied to a single developer enables us to show you all of the Golf Properties in Murcia that meet your requirements. We don't show you property above your price range, and if we don't have property that meets your requirements - we will tell you - we don't "up sell" the properties. In fact our properties sell theirselves. We "cherry pick" our developmens and would only sell anything that we would buy ourselves (and indeed, we have !!)
